WHAT IS LIVE ENGRAVING?
Live engraving is an on-site personalization experience where items are engraved in real time right in front of guests’ eyes. Names, initials, or custom phrases are etched into the product by hand with a diamond burr.
Commonly engraved items include
Glass
Such as wine glasses, whiskey glasses, cocktail glasses, shot glasses, candles, fragrances, and crystal
Bottles
Including spirits and fragrances. Please note that Champagne bottles cannot be engraved due to the possibility of exploding. However, we can still personalize them with paint pens and paint.
Metal
Like flasks, tumblers, trinkets, utensils, picture frames, jewelry, compact mirrors, and accessoires
Plastic
Like beauty products such as make up compacts or lipsticks and lip gloss
Stone
Like paper weights, coasters or porcellain

How many items I can engrave per hour depends varies depending on the event flow, the item’s material and the amount of words to engrave, but generally I can engrave 20-30 items per hour. I have turned around up to 50 items per hour.

For my set up, I really only need a table and a chair, or a countertop and a bar stool. My hand engraving tool is cordless, so no power outlet is needed. I usually leave the table design up to the brand and event planner, but I can bring a small tabletop sign with me that explains the activation, if preferred. I can also provide engraving forms for guests to write down their personalization choice.

Yes! Every live event setup is planned with guest flow in mind. This includes personalization options and recommendations on the number of artists needed based on guest count and event duration. If your event’s volume requires additional artists, I will curate a team and handle the booking process for you.
