My love for beautiful writing started long before I ever called myself a calligrapher.

Growing up in Germany, I was surrounded by the art of handwriting from an early age. Writing in cursive with a fountain pen was part of everyday life and even required in school.

I remember swapping inks with my girlfriends, and driving our teachers crazy by writing in green and purple ink just to switch up our papers.

Years later, I took my first Copperplate Calligraphy class, and that one class quickly grew into a deep appreciation for the art of beautiful writing and a career dedicated to elevating weddings, events, and brand experiences for 8+ years.

Born and raised in Germany, I now call Los Angeles home, where I live with my husband and our two dogs.

Shescloudy Calligraphy is dedicated to crafting meaningful details for weddings, events, and luxury brand activations through calligraphy, engraving, and custom signage.

My mission is to bring beauty and intention into life’s biggest moments. What excites me most is seeing how a simple detail, like a handwritten or engraved name, can spark connection and leave a lasting impression.
